Bu guruh keng tarqalgan intruziv, metamorfik va cho&#8217;kindi tog&#8217;jinslarining jins hosil qiluvchi minerallaridan bo&#8217;lib, muhim foydali qazilma hisoblanadi. Er po&#8217;stidagi umumiy mikdori 3,8%ga etadi. S. monoklin (soxta trigonal) singoniyada kristallanadi. Tabiatda turli otqindi va metamorflashgan tog&#8217; jinslari orasida, yirik kristallari pegmatitlarda, ba&#8217;zan yuqori va o&#8217;rtacha trlarda yuzaga kelgan volfram, mo- libden va b. foydali qazilmalarning gidrotermal konlarida uchraydi. S. yopishkrkligi va egiluvchanligi tufayli shaklini tez o&#8217;zgartiradi, engil jilo- lanadi. S. guruhiga kiradigan mineral &#8212; larning kimyoviy tarkibi o&#8217;zgaruvchan. Muskovit va flogo- pit rangsiz, yupqa qatlamlari shaffof; kuchsiz qo&#8217;ng&#8217;ir, binafsha, yashil tuslari Fe2+, Mn2+, Sg2+ va b. birikmalar b-n bog&#8217;liq. Temirli S.ning qo&#8217;ng&#8217;ir, jigar- rang, to&#8217;q yashil va kora bo&#8217;lishi tarki- bidagi Fe2+, Fe3+, Sg2+va b. nisbatiga bog&#8217;liq. S. elektrotexnika sanoatida izolyator sifatida qamda slyuda kukuni, o&#8217;tga chidamli materiallar, gulqog&#8217;ozlar, slyudali karton, issiqqa chidamli bo&#8217;yoq, har xil keramik mahsulotlar tayyorlash- da ishlatiladi.
