Erning 1 ta (oy), Marsning 2 ta, Yupiterning 16 ta, Saturnning 17 ta, Urannit 15 ta, Neptunning 2 ta va Plutonning 1 ta yo&#8217;ldoshi bor. Merkuriy, Veneraning yo&#8217;ldoshlari topilmagan. S.y. kashf eti- lish vaqtiga qarab ular Rim rakamlari b-n belgilangan. Yupiterning eng yirik va yorug&#8217;yo&#8217;ldoshlari Io, Evropa, gani- med, Kallistolar 1610 y. Galiley tomo- nidan kashf etilgan. S.y., asosan, ellipsga yaqin orbi- talar bo&#8217;ylab to&#8217;g&#8217;ri yo&#8217;nalishda, ya&#8217;ni sayyoraning Quyosh atrofida aylanish yo&#8217;nalishida (ekliptikaning Shimoliy qutbidan qaraganda soat strelkasiga qaramaqarshi) harakatlanadi. Uranning yo&#8217;ldoshlari, Yupiterning VIII, IX, XI, XII yo&#8217;ldoshlari, Saturnning IX, Neptun- ning I yo&#8217;ldoshi teskari harakatlanadi. S.y. sayyoraning orbital harakatiga kuchsiz bo&#8217;lsada ta&#8217;sir ko&#8217;rsatadi, na- tijada uning traektoriyasida juda kam mikdorda chetlanishlar kuzatiladi. Bu chetlanishlarning qiymati S. y. massa- sini hisoblashga imkon beradi. S.y.ning eng kattalari Saturnning Titan, Yupi- terning Ganimed, Kallisto yo&#8217;ldoshlari bo&#8217;lib, ularning har biri massasiga ko&#8217;ra, oydan katta, diametri bo&#8217;yicha esa undan salkam 1,5 marta katta. Ulkan S.y. diametrlarining erdan ko&#8217;rinish burcha- giga qarab, kichiklarining diametrla- ri esa, o&#8217;z sayyoralari b-n to&#8217;silganda, To&#8217;silish vaqtiga ko&#8217;ra hisoblanadi. S. y.dan faqat Titan va Tritonda (ne- ptunning yo&#8217;ldoshi) atmosfera borligi aniklangan. Titanning atmosferasi, asosan, metan, ammiak va qisman azotdan tashkil topgan. Katta yo&#8217;ldoshlar shar shaklida, Fobos va Deymos (Marsning yo&#8217;ldoshlari) kabi kichikroq yo&#8217;ldoshlar esa biror geometrik shaklga ega emasli- gi va ular ulkan tosh qoya shaklidaligi aniqlangan. S.y.ning tuzilishi va harakatini o&#8217;rganish kosmogoniyada katta ahamiyatga ega. Ad.: Ksanfomaliti L.
