Eng rivojlan- gan davri 14-a. 2-yarmi \u2014 15-a. va 17-a. larga to&#8217;g&#8217;ri keladi. Temuriylar davrida Samarqand yirik madaniyat markaziga aylangan, me&#8217;morlik va kitobat san&#8217;- ati beqiyos darajada taraqkiy etgan. Yozma manbalar, saqlanib qolgan san&#8217;- at yodgorliklari Samarqandda tasviriy san&#8217;at qadimdan rivojlanganligini ko&#8217;rsatadi (q. Afrosiyob devoriy rasm- lari). Amir Temur bog&#8217;laridagi saroy- lar devorlariga mahobatli rasmlar ish- langan, shohona chodirlar tasvirlar b-n bezatilgan, keyinchalik Mirzo Ulug&#8217;bek davrida ham binolar tasviriy lavhalar, syujetli asarlar b-n bezatilgan: shoh, uning yaqinlari va safdoshlari por- tretlari, qabul marosimlari, ziyofat, safar va jang lavhalari, ov va b. man- zaralar aks ettirilgan; ayniqsa, Mirzo Ulug&#8217;bek rasadxonasi devorlariga osmon gumbazi, yulduzlar olamiga taalluqli jismlarning ramziy tasvirlari ishlan- gan. Xuddi shunday tasvirlar b-n olim Abdurahmon asSo&#8217;fiyning astronomi- yaga oid risolasi ham S.m.m. vakillari tomonidan bezatilgan. S.m.m. ustalari yaratgan rasmlarda voqealar, asosan, man- Zara zaminida tasvirlanadi; romantic tasvirlarda O&#8217;rta Osiyo tabiatiga xos manzaralar, o&#8217;simlik va hayvonot dunyo- si, mahalliy xalq qiyofalari o&#8217;z aksini topgan. Mujassamotdagi originallik, bezak tuzilishi va badiiy ifoda vo- sitalaridagi aniqlik, yirik shakli, kenglikni simmetrik tuzilishi, sokin ritmi va b. o&#8217;ziga xos xususiyatlarga ega bo&#8217;lgan S.m.m.da qiyofalar ro&#8217;paradan chizilgan, voqealar pastbaland adirlar- da, ko&#8217;shk, chodir zaminida tasvirlangan; ayniqsa, zarrin och sariq \u2014 och binafsha rangli vazmin kolorit diqqatni torta- Di. Ustod Gung, G&#8217;iyosiddin, Amir Temur saroyida yashagan Xoja Abdulhay, uning shogirdi pir Ahmad Bog&#8217;ishamoliy, Muhammad Murod Samarqandiy va b. S.m. m.ning yirik vakillaridan. Nizomiy- ning &#171;Xamsa&#187; (1446-47, Istanbuldagi To&#8217;pqopu saroyida), &#171;Mirzo Ulug&#8217;bek o&#8217;z a&#8217;yonlari b-n&#187; alohida miniatyura (taxm. 1442, Vashingtondagi Frir galereya- sida), O&#8217;zbekiston FA Sharqshunoslik in-ti fondida saqlanayotgan Muhammad Shodining &#171;Fathnoma&#187; (taxm. 16-a.ning 10\u201420y.lari), &#171;tarixi Abulxayrxo &#8212; niy&#187; (taxm. 16-a. 40y.), Firdavsiyning &#171;Shohnoma&#187; (1556), Sharafuddin Ali Yazdiyning &#171;Zafarnoma&#187; (1628) va b. qo&#8217;lyozma kitoblar S.m.m. vakillari tomo- nidan badiiy bezatilgan.
