Lekin, S. kontsepsiyasi 19-a.da Evropada keng yoyilgan (K.A. Sen- Simon, O. Terri, F. Gizo va b.). K. Marks va F. Engels S. mavjudligini muayyan i.ch. usuli, mehnat taqsimoti va xususiy mulk b-n bog&#8217;ladi, S. kurashini tarixni harakatlantiruvchi kuch deb hisobladi (q. Marksizm, Sosializm). Ular jami- yatni mulkdorlar (ekspluatatorlar) va yo&#8217;qsillar (ekspluatasiya qilinuvchilar) sinfiga ajratib tushuntirgan. Bu ikki sinf o&#8217;rtasida doimo kurash bo&#8217;ladi deb hisoblab, jamiyat tarixiga S. kurashi tarixi sifatida karagan. Ular, S.ning mavjudligini jamiyat taraqqiyotining muayyan bosqichi b-n bog&#8217;liq, sinfiy ku- rash proletariat diktaturasiga olib keladi, uning maqsadi sinfeiz jamiyat qurishdan iborat, deb tushuntirishgan. Jamiyat tarixini bunday tushunish, ij- timoiy S.ga bunday yondashuv tarixda urushlarga, inqilobiy to&#8217;ntarishlarga, jamiyatning ichdan bo&#8217;linib ketishiga, guruhlarning birbiriga yovuzlarcha muno- sabatda bo&#8217;lishiga olib keldi. Ijtimoiy taraqqiyot bu ta&#8217;limotning ilmiy asosi yo&#8217;qligini, ma&#8217;rifiy rivojlanishga zid ekanligini ko&#8217;rsatdi. Hoz. sosiologiyada jamiyatni S.ga va b. ijtimoiy guruxlarga bo&#8217;lishning turli mezonlari ilgari surilmoqda. O&#8217;zbekistonda S.ni ikkiga bo&#8217;lib o&#8217;rganishga barham berildi. Mulkning xilmaxilligi yoki xilmaxil shakllar- dagi mulk e&#8217;tirof etiddi. O&#8217;zbekiston Respublikasi Konstitusiyasida &#171;har bir shaxs mulkdor bo&#8217;lishga haqli&#8230;\u00bb (36modda), &#171;&#8230;Xususiy mulk boshqa mulk shakllari kabi daxleiz va davlat himoyasidadir&#8230;&#187;(53modda) deb belgi- lab qo&#8217;yilgan. Bu ijtimoiy sinf tushun- chasini yangicha tushunish va unga yangicha yondoshishdir. O&#8217;zbekistonda fukarolarga mulkdor bo&#8217;lish huq>&#8217;qining berilishi jamiyatni qaramaqarshi S.ga bo&#8217;lish va bo&#8217;lib o&#8217;rganish goyasini ham inkor eta- Di. &#171;O&#8217;rta mulkdorlar sinfi&#187;, &#171;o&#8217;rta mulkdorlar katlami&#187;, &#171;mulkdorlar sinfi&#187; degan tushunchalar S.ni an&#8217;ana- viy tushunishdan tubdan farq qiladi. O&#8217;zbekistonda qurilayotgan demokratik, fuqarolik jamiyati fuqarolar o&#8217;rtasida ijtimoiy hamjiqatlik g&#8217;oyasiga tayana- Di. Jamiyatda hammaga bir xil imkoni- yat yaratiladi, lekin undan har kim o&#8217;z qobiliyati, qiziqishiga ko&#8217;ra foydala- nadi. Bu tabiiy jarayon bo&#8217;lib, kishilar- ning mulkdorlik darajasi hamda jami- yatda mulkdorlar qatlamining shakllani- shida o&#8217;z ifodasini topadi.
