Syu. Tezligi odatdagi yurishdan 2-2,5 baravar yuqori bo&#8217;ladi, bunga katta (105\u2014 115 sm) va teztez (minutiga 180-200 ta) qadam tashlash bilan erishiladi. Musobaqalar stadion yo&#8217;lkasida va asfalt yo&#8217;llarda o&#8217;tkaziladi. Erkaklar 10-50 km (rasmiy xalqaro musobakalarda \u2014 20 va 50 km), o&#8217;smirlar \u2014 3\u2014 10 km; ayrim mamlakat- larda ayollar \u2014 3-20 km masofada Muso- bakalashadilar.
