K.e. yorug&#8217;likning kvant nazariyasini tasdik- dovchi dastlabki amaliy kashfiyot. Kvant nazariya bu effektni ikki zarra \u2014 foton va elektronning to&#8217;qnashishi, deb tushun- tiradi. Foton erkin qo&#8217;zg&#8217;almas elektron- lar b-n to&#8217;qnashib sochilganda energiyasi- ning bir qismini elektronlarga beradi hamda harakat yo&#8217;nalishi va chastotasini o&#8217;zgartiradi. Demak, to&#8217;qnashish vaqtida foton energiyasi kamayadi, to&#8217;lqin uzun- ligi X esa ortadi. Foton electron b-n to&#8217;qnashganda to&#8217;lqin uzunligi- ning o&#8217;zgarishi to&#8217;shayotgan yorug&#8217;likning boshlang&#8217;ich to&#8217;lqin uzunligiga emas, faqat zarraning sochilish burchagi 9 ga bog&#8217;liq. Bu formula &#171;u-nurning moddadan sochilishi uchun ham, shuningdek, roentgen nurlarning engil moddalar (grafit, parafin va b.)dan sochilishi uchun ham o&#8217;rinlidir. Fotonlar harakatdagi elek- tronlardan sochilayotganda LX faqat v gagina emas, elektronlarning boshlang&#8217;ich energiyasiga ham bog&#8217;liq bo&#8217;ladi.
