Atom yadrolari- ning bo&#8217;linishi, asosan, tez neytronlar hisobiga yuz beradigan tez reaktorlarga nisbatan issiklik (sekin) neytronli reaktorlarda yadro yoqilg&#8217;i-sining kri- tik massasi kichik, konst-ruktsiyasi sodda bo&#8217;lib, dunyoning barcha mamlakatlarida qo&#8217;llaniladi.
