Bunda nerv hujayralaridagi tormozlanish qo&#8217;zg&#8217;alishni vujudga keltiradi (musbat I.) yoki, aksincha, eng avval hosil bo&#8217;lgan qo&#8217;zg&#8217;alish jarayoni tor-mozlanishni Vu- judga keltiradi (manfiy I.)- Musbat va manfiy I. 2 xil bo&#8217;lishi mumkin; 1) bir vaqtda boradigan (simultan) I. \u2014 bir joydagi qo&#8217;zg&#8217;alish bir vaqtda o&#8217;z atrofida tor-mozlanishni hosil qiladi va kuchaytiradi, tormozlanish o&#8217;chog&#8217;i esa qo&#8217;zg&#8217;alish jarayonini vujudga keltiradi; 2) ketma-ket sodir bo&#8217;ladigan (Suk- tsessiv) I., bunda biror nuqtada paydo bo&#8217;lgan qo&#8217;zg&#8217;alish ta&#8217;siri to&#8217;xtagandan so&#8217;ng tormozlanish vujudga keladi yoki aksincha. 3) embriologiyada \u2014 rivojlanayotgan embrion bir qismi (induktorlar)ning ikkinchi qismga (ta&#8217;sirla-nuvchi siste- maga) ta&#8217;siri. Bu hodisa qismlar bir- biriga tegib turganda ro&#8217;y beradi va ta&#8217;- sirlanaetgan sistemaning rivojlanishi yo&#8217;nalishini belgilaydi. I. ni 1901 i. nemis embriologi X. Shpeman suvda va quruklikda yashovchilar embrionida ektodermadan ko&#8217;z gavharining hosil bo&#8217;lishini o&#8217;rganish orqali aniqlagan. Ko&#8217;z murtagi (boshlang&#8217;ichi) olib tashlan- ganda Gavhar paydo bo&#8217;lmagan. Embrion- ning biqiniga ko&#8217;chirib o&#8217;tkazilgan ko&#8217;z murtagi, odatda, teri epidermisiga ay- lanadigan ektodermadan Gavhar hosil qilgan. Gastrula ektodermasidan Mar- kaziy nerv sistemasi murtagi paydo bo&#8217;lishiga xordomezodermaning induk- tsiyalovchi ta&#8217;sir ko&#8217;rsatishini keyin- chalik Shpeman aniqladi; bu hodisani u boshlan-g&#8217;ich embrional I., inductor (xordo-mezoderma)ni esa boshqaruvchi I. deb nomladi. Rivojlanayotgan organism qismlarini ko&#8217;chirib o&#8217;tkazish va ularni alohida yoki aralash o&#8217;stirish ustida olib borilgan tekshirishlar I. hamma xorda- lilar va ko&#8217;pchilik umurtqasizlarda keng tarqalganligini ko&#8217;rsatdi. Hayvon va o&#8217;simlik organizmlarning individual rivojlanishidagi boshqa ko&#8217;p hodisalar ham &#171;I.&#187;deb ataladi.
