Ularning I. i uchun ma&#8217;lum I. energiyasi sarflanadi. Atom (molekula) dan bir elektronni ajratib, musbat ion hosil qilishga sarflangan energiya mik- dor jihatdan I. po-tentsialga teng. Za- ryadlangan zarralar (elektron, ion) zarbi b-n atom va molekulalarni ionlash zar- ba I. deyiladi. Zarba I. ehtimolligi, asosan, ionlanuvchi gaz (yoki suyuqlik) ga, ionlovchi zarralarning energiyasiga, tarkibiga, zichligiga bog&#8217;liq. Bunday I., ko&#8217;pincha, mass-spektrometrlar va atom- lar to&#8217;qnashishini o&#8217;rganishda ishlati- ladigan asboblarda kuzatiladi. Modda- larda kuzatiladigan I. fakatgina tashqi ionlovchi zarralarning ta&#8217;sirlashuvi natijasida bo&#8217;lmasligi ham mumkin. Agar modda atom (molekula) larining is- siklik xarakati energiyasi etarli bulsa, ular uzaro to&#8217;qnashishlari natijasida bir-birini ionlantirishi mumkin. Bu termik I. deyiladi. Termik I. inten- sivligi 103-104 K trali moddalarda yuqori bo&#8217;ladi (mas, ey razryadi yoki yonish jarayoni, kuyoshdagi jarayonlar va h. k.). Moddalarning I. i fotonlar (erug&#8217;lik) ta&#8217;sirida yuz bersa, bu jarayon fotoion- lanish deyiladi. Dissosiasiya) ; 3) qat-tiq jism- larning I. i \u2014 qattiq jism atomlari- ning ionlarga aylanish jarayoni. Bunda elektronlar kri-stalldagi valentlik zonasidan elektr utkazuvchanlik zonasi- ga o&#8217;tadi. Kat-tiqjismdagi I. energiyasi Ichaxm. ta-qikdangan zona kengligi ener- giyasi Eg ga teng bo&#8217;ladi (q. Qattiq jism fizi-kasi). Qattiq jismlardan zaryad- langan (yoki neytral) zarralar (elektron, proton, neytron va h. k.) oqimi o&#8217;tganda yoki elektromagnit tebranishlar ta&#8217;si- rida I. sodir bo&#8217;ladi.
