Yozuvchi Sayd Ahmadnchng rafiqasi. Andijon o&#8217;qituvchilar institutini (1943) va O&#8217;rta Osiyo universitetining Filologiya fakultetini (1947-52) tugatgan. &#171;Gulxan&#187; jurnali (1953-56), &#171;O&#8217;zbekiston madaniyati&#187; gazetasida adabiy xodim (1956-57), badiiy adabiyot nashriyotida muharrir (1957\u2014 58) hamda O&#8217;zbekiston Yozuvchilar uyushmasida adabiy maslahatchi (1962-67) bo&#8217;lib ishlagan. Zunnunovaning ilk she&#8217;ri 1945 yil Andijon viloyati &#171;Paxta fronti&#187; gazetasida bosilgan. &#171;Qizingiz yozdi&#187; nomli ilk she&#8217;rlar to&#8217;plami esa talabalik yillari (1948) nashr etilib, she&#8217;riyat muxlislari e&#8217;tiborini qozondi. Shundan keyin uning &#171;Yangi she&#8217;rlar&#187; (1950), &#171;Gullar vodiysi&#187; (1954), &#171;Qizlarjon&#187; (1962), &#171;She&#8217;rlar&#187; (1964), &#171;Bir yil uylari&#187; (1967), &#171;Nilufar&#187; (1972) she&#8217;riy to&#8217;plamlari e&#8217;lon qilindi. Shoira go&#8217;zal lirik she&#8217;rlar bilan bir vaqtda &#171;Sodiq va Anor&#187;(1947), &#171;Xayrixon&#187; (1949), &#171;Surat bilan suhbat&#187; (1966), &#171;Qo&#8217;shnilarim&#187; (1968) singari dostonlar ham yaratdi. Zunnunova bu she&#8217;riy asarlarida inson ruhiy hayotining nozik qirralari va tebranishlari, tuyg&#8217;u va kechinmalarning murakkab harakati, dardu hasrat va orzu-armonlarning Kamalak ranglarini mahorat bilan ifodalay oluvchi shoira sifatida shakllanganini namoyish etdi. Bu hol uning, ayniqsa, &#171;Surat bilan suhbat&#187; dostonida yorqin ko&#8217;rindi. Zunnunova o&#8217;zbek xotin-qizlari hayotini o&#8217;rganish, ular turmushidagi mashaqqatli jihatlar va murakkabliklarga jamo atchilik e&#8217;tiborini jalb etish niyatida oila va muhabbat mavzuida bir qancha hikoya va qissalar yozdi. Uning &#171;Gulbahor&#187; (1956), &#171;Povest va hikoyalar&#187; (1957), &#171;Gulxan&#187; (1959), &#171;Do&#8217;stlik&#187; (1960), &#171;Qanot&#187; (1961), &#171;Olov&#187; (1962), &#171;Ko&#8217;chalar charog&#8217;on&#187; (1965), &#171;Bo&#8217;ylaringdan o&#8217;rgilay&#187; (1972) singari nasriy kitoblarida xotin-qizlar hayoti haqqoniy badiiy tajassumini topdi. Ayniqsa, &#171;Yangi direktor&#187;, &#171;Olov&#187;, &#171;Odamlar orasida&#187; qissalarida Zunnunova eskilik sarqitlarini fosh etish niqobi ostida sovet jamiyatidagi illatlarni keskin fosh etdi. Zunnunovaning &#171;Ona&#187; (1966) va &#171;Ko&#8217;zlar&#187; (1968) nomli pyesalari ham bor. Toshkentdagi ko&#8217;chalardan biri va 224-sonli maktabga, shuningdek, Andijon shahridagi ko&#8217;cha va maktablardan biriga hamda bo&#8217;z tumanidagi akademik liseyga Zunnunova nomi berilgan.
