Temir (II) sulfat FeSO4 \u2014 rangsiz, gigroskopik kristallar; zichligi 3,14 g\/sm3. Suvda yaxshi eriydi. Suvdagi eritmasidan \u2014 1,82\u00b0 dan 56,8\u00b0 gacha geptagidrat, 56,8\u00b0-64\u00b0 oralig&#8217;ida \u2014 tetragidrat, 64\u00b0 dan yuqori trada monogidrat xrlida kristallanadi. 700\u00b0 atrofida FeO va SO3 ga ajraladi. Geptagidrat FeSO47H2O (texnik nomi \u2014 temir kuporosi, tabiatda \u2014 melanterit minerali) \u2014 havorangyashil kristallar; zichligi 1,898 g\/sm3, suvda (20\u00b0 da massa jihatidan 21%), spirtda, gliserinda eriydi. Tetragidrat FeSO44H2O \u2014 yashil kristallar, monogidrat FeSO4H2O \u2014 rangsiz kristallar. FeSO4 bilan ammoniy sulfat (NH4)2SO4hhhf suvdagi eritmasidan ko&#8217;kyashil rangli, havoda barqaror qo&#8217;sh sulfat FeSO4 (NH4)2 \u2022SO46H2O (Mop tuzi) kristallanadi. Temir (II) sulfat kimyoviy reaktsiyalarda kaytaruvchi, galvanotexnikada elektrolit komponenti, taxta konservanta, Fungisit sifatida, pigmentlar olishda, analitik kimyoda NO&#187; MnO4 Se4q MnNO~ ionlarini ochishda qo&#8217;llanadi. Temir (III) sulfat Fe2(SO)3 \u2014 och yashil gigroskopik kristallar; zichligi 3,097 g\/sm3. Suvdagi eritmasidan Fe2(SO4)3nH2O (bu erda pq12, 10, 9, 7, 6, 3) ko&#8217;rinishidagi kristallogidratlar holida kristallanadi. Nonagidrat Fe2(SO4)39H2O (tabiatda \u2014 kokimbit minerali). Suvda (100 g da 440 g, 20\u00b0 da), spirtda, gidrazinda eriydi. Qizdirilganda 98\u00b0 da tetragidratga, 125\u00b0 da monogidratga, 175\u00b0 da suvsiz Fe2(SO4)ra aylanadi, 600\u00b0 dan yuqorida Fe2O3 va SO3 ga ajraladi. Fe2(SO4)3 ammoniy sulfat bilan birga qo&#8217;shilib och binafsha tusli go&#8217;zal kristallardan iborat temirammoniyli achchiqtosh NH4Fe(SO4)212H2O hosil qiladi.
