T.k. parvarishni engillashtiradi, yorug&#8217;lik va issiqlikdan o&#8217;simlikning to&#8217;la foydalanishini ta&#8217;minlaydi, ildiz bilan er ustki qismining o&#8217;zaro mutanosibligini tartibga soladi. Tok qishda ko&#8217;miladigan mintaqalarda bahorda ochish paytida singan yoki qishda sovuq urgan novdalar o&#8217;rnini to&#8217;latish uchun 15-20% ortiqroq kurtak qoldiriladi. .T k.da 1, 2, 3 yoshli toklarni kesish qoidalariga amal qilish lozim. To&#8217;g&#8217;ri shakl berilgan tok 4yili to&#8217;la hosilga kiradi. O&#8217;zbekistonda kup zangli elpig&#8217;ichsimon shakl keng tarqalgan.
