U yorug&#8217;likning elektromagnit na- zariyasini va anomal dispersiya nazariya- sini taraqqiy ettirgan. Fanga erkin va bog&#8217;langan energiyalar degan tushunchani kiritgan. Ko&#8217;rish va eshitish fiziologi- yasiga oid masalalarni ilmiy jihatdan to&#8217;g&#8217;ri talqin qilgan.
