Optik bir jinslilik muhitning sirtida va hajmida buzilishi mumkin. Fizik tabiatidan qat&#8217;i nazar, bir jinslilikning buzilishi nurning boshlang&#8217;ich tarqalish yo&#8217;nalishidan og&#8217;ishiga olib keladi. Yorug&#8217;likni yutmaydigan dielektrik zarralarda bo&#8217;ladigan nurning sochilish intensivligi (\/) X,&#8217; ga mutanosib bo&#8217;lib, rzarra o&#8217;lchamining yorug&#8217;lik to&#8217;lqin uzunligiga nisbatiga bog&#8217;liq parametr. O&#8217;lchamlariadan ancha kichik issiklik (zichlik) fluktuasiyalari yuz beradigan muhitlarda sochilish intensivligi 1~X~* (Reley qonuni). O&#8217;lchamlari X dan ancha katta zarralardagi sochilish uchun r ning qiymati nolga yaqin va sochilish intensivligi to&#8217;lqin uzunligiga bog&#8217;liq bo&#8217;lmaydi.
