U moddiy predmet olamidangina iborat emas. Borliq turli darajada namoyon bo&#8217;ladi: organik va noorganik tabiat, biosfera, ijtimoiy Borliq, ob&#8217;yektiv ideal Borliq (madaniy qadriyatlar, ilmiy bilimning umumiy printsiplari, tushunchalari va hokazolar), inson turmushi. Borliq falsafa tarixida turlicha talqin qilingan. Yaqin va O&#8217;rta Sharq falsafasida Kindiy, Forobiy, Ibn Sino, Umar Xayyom, Ibn Rushd kabi mutafakkirlar Borliqni ikkiga \u2014 vujudi mumkin va vujudi vojibga bo&#8217;ladilar. Ularning falsafasida Borliqning dastlabki sababchisi Alloh (vujudi vojib), lekin Alloh bilan Borliqni bir-biridan ajratib tasavvur qilib bo&#8217;lmaydi, bular sababoqibat shaklida bir-birlari bilan uzviy bog&#8217;liq, degan tushuncha yotadi. Ba&#8217;zi faylasuflar Borliqni qandaydir dunyoviy ruhning, g&#8217;ayri moddiy kuchning ko&#8217;rinishlaridan iborat, deb hisoblaydilar. Xususan Gegel falsafasida Borliq mutlaq g&#8217;oyaning o&#8217;zligidan, mavhumlikdan konkretlikka tomon yuksalib boruvchi dastlabki, bevosita va juda noaniq bosqichi hisoblanadi. Borliqni ruhmahsuli sifatida qarash 19-asr oxiri \u2014 20-asr boshidagi falsafaga ham xos. L. Feyerbax, A. I. Gersen, N. G. Chernishevskiy Borliq ob&#8217;yektiv, u harakatdagi materiya bilan bog&#8217;liq deb ta&#8217;kidlaydilar. Ba&#8217;zi falsafiy oqimlar mavjud olamning realligini, Borliqning ob&#8217;yektivligini e&#8217;tirof etadilar.
