Dastavval otasi Abubakr ibn Abduljalil, so&#8217;ng Simom Bahouddin Ali ibn Muhammad Asbijobiy qo&#8217;lida tahsil ko&#8217;rdi. Rishton, Marg&#8217;ilon, Buxoro, Samarqand va Movarounnahrning boshqa shaharlarida Islomiy ta&#8217;lim olib, hanafiya mazhabining buyuk faqihi sifatida nom qozondi. Shayxulislom bo&#8217;lib yetishdi. 1149 yil haj safariga bordi. Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniy Samarqand shahridagi Chokardiza qabristonga dafn etilgan. Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniy fiqh bo&#8217;yicha asosiy asari &#171;Bidoyat ul-mubtadi'&#187; (&#171;Boshlovchilar uchun qo&#8217;llanma&#187;) ni hanafiya nazariyotchisi, shariat asoschilaridan Abul Hasan al-Quduriy (1029 yil vafot etgan) va Muhammad ash-Shayboniy (884 yil vafot etgan) asarlariga tayanib yozgan. Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniyning ushbu kitobi nazariy asar edi, undan amaliy jihatdan foydalanish qiyin bo&#8217;lgan. Shu sababli Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniyning o&#8217;zi 8 jildli sharh \u2014 &#171;Kifoyat ul-muntahiy&#187; (&#171;Yakunlovchilar uchun tugal ta&#8217;limot&#187;) ni yozishga karor qilgan. Keyinchalik bu kitobi asosida &#171;Kitob al-Hidoya&#187; (qisqacha nomi &#171;Hidoya&#187; \u2014 &#171;To&#8217;g&#8217;ri yo&#8217;l&#187;) ni yaratadi (1178). Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniy bu kitobda o&#8217;sha zamonlarda mo&#8217;min musulmonlar duch keladigan dolzarb hayotiy masalalar, jumladan oilaviy va ijtimoiy munosabatlar, mulkchilik, savdo-sotiq, jinoyat va jazo, insonning burch va mas&#8217;uliyatlariga taalluqli juda ko&#8217;p murakkab muammolarni Islomiy huquq nuqtai nazaridan hal etib berdi. Mazkur kitob nafaqat Movarounnahrda, balki butun Islom sharqida bir necha tillarga tarjima etilib ma&#8217;lum va mashhur bo&#8217;lib ketdi. Bu kitob fiqh ilmi bo&#8217;yicha eng aniq, izchil, mukammal asar bo&#8217;lgan. Undan asrlar davomida Islom huquqshunosligi bo&#8217;yicha nufuzli huquqiy manba \u2014 asosiy qo&#8217;llanma sifatida foydalanilgan. Shu sababli alloma nafaqat ulamolar, balki oddiy xalq orasida ham &#171;Hidoyat yo&#8217;lining sarboni&#187; deya katta hurmat e&#8217;tibor topdi. Burhoniddin valmilla (Islom dinining dalili, isboti) degan sharafli nomga sazovor bo&#8217;ldi. Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniy yana bir qancha asarlar yozgan: &#171;Nashr al-mazhab&#187; (&#171;Mazhabning tarqalishi&#187;), &#171;Kitob at-tajnis valmaziyd&#187; (&#171;Fuqarolik huquqini taqdim etish&#187;), &#171;Kitob ul-faroiz&#187; (&#171;Majburiyatlar haqida kitob&#187;), &#171;Maziyd Fi furu ulhanafiy (&#171;Hanafiya mazhabiga qo&#8217;shimchalar&#187;) va boshqalar. U o&#8217;z asarlarida ijtimoiy-iqtisodiy munosabatlar, mulkchilikning turli shakllari (davlat va xususiy mulkchilik), moliyaviy faoliyat, jinoyat va jazoning huquqiy asoslarini, fuqarolik huquqi nazariyasi va amaliyoti, qozilik muassasalari tarkibi, tartibi va jinoiy ishni ko&#8217;rish masalalarini batafsil yoritib berdi. Bu asarlarda adolat tuygusi, o&#8217;z davrining huquqiy mszonlari asosida yashash, o&#8217;zganing mol-mulkiga ko&#8217;z olaytirmaslik, haromdan hazar qilish, insof va diyonat, mehr-oqibat kabi ezgu tushunchalarning mohiyati ochib berilgan. Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniyning o&#8217;zi hayoti davomida ana shunday insoniy fazilatlarga amal qilib yashadi. Ilmu urfon yo&#8217;lidagi fidoyiligi, kamtarligi o&#8217;z asarlarida bir&#187;on marta ham &#171;men&#187; degan so&#8217;zni ishlatmay, &#171;bu zaif banda aytadi&#187;, deya hokisorlik bilan izoh berishida ham ko&#8217;rinib turadi. Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniyning ilmiy merosi o&#8217;z ahamiyatini yo&#8217;qotmagan. Jahondagi ko&#8217;p oliy o&#8217;quv yurtlarida musulmon huquqshunosligi fanlari Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniyning fiqh ta&#8217;limoti asosida o&#8217;rganiladi. O&#8217;zbekiston mustaqillikka erishgandan so&#8217;ng uning ilmiy merosini har tomonlama chuqur o&#8217;rganish, asarlarini chop etish ishlariga katta e&#8217;tibor berila boshlandi. O&#8217;zbekiston Respublikasi Prezidenti I.A. Karimov tashabbusi bilan Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniy vafotining 800 yilligi (1997), tavalludining 910 yilligi (hijriy sana bo&#8217;yicha) (2000) keng nishonlandi. Shu munosabat bilan Marg&#8217;ilon sh. markazida Burhoniddin Marg\u2019inoniy yodgorlik majmui bunyod etilib, shu yerda uning ramziy maqbarasi o&#8217;rnatildi. As: Xidaya.
