Muqim Defektoskopda nuqsonlarni ham aniqlab, ham qayd qiladigan va bir yo&#8217;la baholab ketadigan qurilmalar bo&#8217;ladi. Ko\u2019chma Defektoskop milli (strelkali) ixcham asbob, yorug&#8217;lik yoki tovush signallari beradigan asbob va boshqalar bilan ta&#8217;minlanadi. Laboratoriyada ishlatiladigan Defektoskop ancha sezgir bo&#8217;ladi, ko&#8217;pincha, ossillograf va raqamli indikator bilan ta&#8217;minlanadi. Ba&#8217;zi Defektoskoplar tez harakatlanayotgan buyumlardagi nuqsonlarni aniqlay oladi yoki o&#8217;zi buyumga nisbatan harakatlanadi.
