Simob 39 gradus sovuqlikda muzlaydi, 357 gradusda esa qaynaydi. Uning vazni suvdan 13,6 marta og&#8217;irroq. Simobning sirtqi yaxlitligi katta hajmda bo&#8217;ladi, shu sababli ayrim predmetlar unda cho&#8217;kadi. Simob mayda tomchilarga bo&#8217;linish va oqish xossalariga ega. Tabiatda simob qizil tusli kinovar ma&#8217;dani tarzida mavjud bo&#8217;ladi. Kinovar ko&#8217;pgina tog&#8217;-qoya jinslariga kiradi, biroq uni ko&#8217;p hollarda vulqonli jinslar tarkibida uchratish mumkin. Simob oson bug&#8217;lanadi. Hozirgi davrda simob tibbiyotda keng qo&#8217;llanilmohda. Garchi simob va uning qismlari zaharli bo&#8217;lsa-da, undan dori va dezinfektsiya vositalarini tayyorlashda qo&#8217;shimcha xomashyo tarzida foydalanilmoqda. Ishlab chiqarilayotgan simobning uchdan bir qismi tibbiyot sohasida ishlatiladi. Biz simobni bemorlarning isitmasini aniqlaydigan vosita \u2014 &#171;gradusnik&#187; orqali yaxshi bilamiz.
