Shashmaqom va Xorazm masomlaripxya farqli o&#8217;laroq alohidaalohida cholg&#8217;u va ashula yo&#8217;llaridan iborat. Jumladan, cholg&#8217;u yo&#8217;llari &#171;Nasrullo I\u2014V&#187;, &#171;Munojot 1\u2014V&#187;, &#171;Ajam va taronalari&#187;, &#171;Miskin I\u2014V&#187;, &#171;Segoh I \u2014III&#187;, &#171;sayqal I\u2014 II&#187;, &#171;Mirzadavlat I\u2014II&#187;, &#171;Cho&#8217;li Iroq&#187;, &#171;Chorgoh&#187;, &#171;Surnay Iroqi&#187;, &#171;Surnay Dugohi&#187; &#171;surnay ushshog&#8217;i&#187; kabilar mashhur. Ashula yo&#8217;llari alohida bir qismli (&#171;Segoh, &#171;Toshkent&#187; irog&#8217;i&#187; kabi) namunalardan tortib keng ko&#8217;lamli turkumlardan tashkil topgan. Ayniqsa, besh qismli &#171;Chorgoh&#187;, &#171;Bayot&#187;, &#171;Bayoti Sheroziy&#187;, &#171;Gulyor\u2014Shahnoz&#187; va yetti qismli &#171;Dugoh\u2014 Husayn&#187; ashula yo&#8217;llari ommalashgan. Ular mumtoz she&#8217;riyat (Sakkokiy, Navoiy, Bobur, Uvaysiy, Furqat, Muqimiy va boshqalar) namunalari asosida o&#8217;qiladi. Farg&#8217;ona\u2014Toshkent maqom turkumlarining qismlari raqamlar vositasida ajratiladi (masalan, &#171;Miskin I&#187;, &#171;Miskin II&#187;, &#171;Bayot I&#187;). Ayrim hollarda tarkibiy qismlarning maxsus nomlari ham uchraydi. Zero &#171;maqom&#187; atamasidan avvalroq musiqa ilmi amaliyotida &#171;yo&#8217;l&#187; ma&#8217;nosidagi &#171;roh&#187;, &#171;tariqa&#187;, &#171;ravashin&#187; kabi tushunchalar keng qo&#8217;llanib kelingan. Shashmaqomdan farqli ravishda Farg&#8217;ona-Toshkent maqom yo&#8217;llari nafaqat xon saroylarida, balki xalq hayoti bilan bog&#8217;liq turli vaziyat va sharoitlarda ham mudom ijro etilgan. Masalan, surnay yo&#8217;llari xalq tomosha va bayramlarida, dorbozlar o&#8217;yini va to&#8217;y bazmlarida, dutor, tanbur, g&#8217;ijjak ijrolari hamda ashula yo&#8217;llari uy sharoitlarida o&#8217;tkaziladigan turli yig&#8217;in va majlislarda namoyon bo&#8217;lgan. Ayni paytda, bu maqomlarda Farg&#8217;ona\u2014Toshkent musiqa uslubiga xos Yalla, ashula, katta ashula janrlarining xususiyatlari o&#8217;z aksini topgan. Bu holat ularning musiqiy tili xalqchil va nisbatan ommaviy ekanligi, xalq orasida mashhur bo&#8217;lishi sabablaridan biridir. Farg&#8217;ona-Toshkent maqom yo&#8217;llari ijrochilari mazkur an&#8217;anani odatda mashhur ustozlardan o&#8217;rganishgan. Najmiddinov (dutor, tanbur), K.Jabborov (g&#8217;ijjak, dutor), S.Kalonov (nay), Faxriddin Sodiqov (chang, dutor), G&#8217;.Toshmatov (g&#8217;ijjak), T.Alimatov (tanbur, dutor), hofizlar \u2014 Sh.Shoumarov, To&#8217;ychi Hofiz, Shojalil Hofiz, Ilhom Hofiz, Sodirxon Hofiz, Rajabiylar, Rasulqori Mamadaliev kabi ustoz san&#8217;atkorlarning xizmatlari katta. Bastakorlardan T. Jalilov, O. Hotamov, F. Mamadaliev, so&#8217;nggi yillarda A. Ismoilovlar Farg&#8217;ona-Toshkent maqom yo&#8217;llari an&#8217;analarida turkumli va alohida ijro etiluvchi asarlar yaratishgan.
