Toshkent davlat teatr va rassomlik san&#8217;ati intini tugatgan (1965). 1965 yildan Hamza teatrida aktyor. Valish (Azimzoda, &#171;Nasriddinning sarguzashtlari&#187;) Avazovning sahnadagi ilk obrazidir. Teatrdagi eng yaxshi rollari: Amirxon (Uyg&#8217;un, &#171;Zebunisso&#187;), Nodirshoh (Fitrat, &#171;Abulfayzxon&#187;), Abulmalik (Uyg&#8217;un, Izzat Sulton, &#171;Alisher Navoiy&#187;), Darvesh Ali (O. Yoqubov, &#171;Bir koshona siri&#187;) va boshqalar. Shuningdek, &#171;Alisher Navoiy&#187; (G&#8217;iyosiddin), &#171;Yulduzli tunlar&#187; (Ahmad Tanbal) kabi videofilmlarda, &#171;Kun va tun&#187; (Bobur) telespektaklida, &#171;Kasalxona&#187; (akademik Yo&#8217;ldoshev) filmida ham rollar ijro etgan. Avazov sahnada o&#8217;ynagan rollari o&#8217;ziga xos kuchli emotsionalligi, yetuk va to&#8217;laqonli talqin etilganligi bilan ajralib turadi.
