Homiladorlikda, ko&#8217;pincha tuqqandan keyin ro&#8217;y beradigan chillashir kasalligi ham Avitaminoz natijasidir. Bitta vitamin yetishmasa, mono Avitaminoz, ko\u2019p vitamin yetishmasa, poli Avitaminoz kelib chiqadi. Birinchi marta 1880 yilda rus vrachi N. I. Lunin Avitaminozni tajriba yo&#8217;li b-n hosil qilgan. Avitaminozning oldini olish uchun vitaminga boy sabzavot va mevalarni ko&#8217;proq iste&#8217;mol qilish, vitaminli masalliqlarni yaxshi saqlash, ovqat pishirganda vitaminlarning parchalanib ketishiga yo&#8217;l qo&#8217;ymaslik kerak.
