Xeveshi va G. Levi taklif etgan. Neytronlar, zaryadlangan zarrachalar (protonlar va boshqalar) yoki u-kvantlar oqimi ta&#8217;sirida hosil bo&#8217;lgan nuklidlarning radioaktiv nurlanishini tadqiq qilishga asoslangan. O&#8217;zbekistonda Aktivatsion tahlil bo&#8217;yicha tadqiqotlar 1960 yilda E. M. Lobanov tomonidan boshlangan va uning rivojiga A. A. Kist, V. A. Mo&#8217;minov, A. G. G&#8217;aniyevlar katta hissa qo&#8217;shishgan. Intensivligi -1013 santimetr 2-S2 bo&#8217;lgan neytronlar oqimidan foydalanilganda ko\u2019pgina elementlarni 10&#8217;5-10&#8243;10 aniqlik bilan sezish mumkin. U Aktivatsion tahlil uchun yuqori energiyali elektronlarni tormozlaganda chiqadigan katta intensivli (10y\u201410ls kvantg&#8217;s) nurlanishdan foydalaniladi. Bu usul bilan davriy sistemaning barcha elementlarini aniqlash mumkin va undagi sezgirlikning chegaraviy kiymati -10~*-10&#8243;7% ga yetadi. Olingan spektrlarni tahlil qilish va natijalarga ishlov berish uchun ko&#8217;p kanalli analizatorlar va E.M qo&#8217;llaniladi, bu esa jarayonni avtomatlashtirish imkonini beradi. Aktivatsion tahlil ning asosiy ustunliklaridan biri \u2014 turli ob&#8217;yektlardagi elementlarning juda oz miqdorini aniqlay olish va ko&#8217;plab namunalarni tez tahlil qila bilish imkonidir.
