Zonallikning davriy qonuniyati asosida turli hududlar namlanish darajasidagi o`xshashlik yotadi. Bu qonuniyatni A.A.Grigorev va M.I.Budiko kashf etganlar. Zonallikning davriy qonuniyatining asosiy ko`rsatkichi quruqlikning radiatsion indeksidir. Quruqlikning radiatsion indeksi zona radiatsiya balansining shu zonaga tushadigan yillik yalpi yog`inni bug`latishga ketadigan issiqlikka bo`lgan nisbati bilan ifodalanadi. Bu ko&#8217;rsatkich har bir zonadagi tabiiy jarayonlarning intensivlik darajasini aks ettiradi.
