Allellar ko\u2019pligi organizmning muayyan xususiyatlarini belgilab beradi. Allellar ko\u2019pligini ifodalovchi belgilar quyidagilardan iborat: 1) doimo muayyan genlar bilan bog&#8217;langan bo&#8217;lishi, ya&#8217;ni ular bilan genlar o&#8217;rtasidagi krossingoverning har doim bir xilda turishi takrorlanadi; 2) ikkita allel birga zigotada duch kelganida ham ular bilan bog&#8217;liq bo&#8217;lgan irsiy effekt kuchaymasligi, ya&#8217;ni allel ta&#8217;sirining o&#8217;rtacha bo&#8217;lishi; 3) birinchi bo&#8217;g&#8217;in gametalarida ularning ajralib ketishi, ya&#8217;ni bir genning ikki allelini egallagan geterozigotadan allellarning bo&#8217;linayotgan gametalarga borishi. Mutasiya natijasida o&#8217;zgargan genlarning ma&#8217;lum bir allellar guruhiga mansubligi quyidagi hollarda ma&#8217;lum bo&#8217;ladi: a) o&#8217;zgargan genlardan kelib chiqqan fenotiplar o&#8217;xshash bo&#8217;lganida; b) o&#8217;zgargan genning bir juft allelini egallagan geterozigota fenotipi ikki alleldan biriga o&#8217;xshaganda yoki o&#8217;rtacha bo&#8217;lganda; v) struktura jihatidan mustahkam tuzilish bilan bog&#8217;liq bo&#8217;lmagan allellar turli gametalar bo&#8217;yicha bo&#8217;linib turganda. Genotipik muhit Allellar ko\u2019pligi faoliyatiga kuchli ta&#8217;sir qiladi. Bu ta&#8217;sir ba&#8217;zi bir allellar faoliyatiga xos bo&#8217;lishi ham mumkin. Allellar ko\u2019pligi guruhida dominantlik darajasi mutasiyaning chekka resessiv tipidan boshlab ortib boradi; boshqa guruhlarda dominantlik turlicha ro&#8217;y beradi.
