Birinchi asari \u2014 &#171;ko&#8217;r bo&#8217;lish&#187; (1931) ro- manida tartibsiz, xarob dunyo manzaralari tasvirlangan, Kanettining tasvirlashicha, odamlar bu dunyoda o&#8217;z aqlsizliklari tutquni bo&#8217;ladilar. &#171;To&#8217;y&#187; (1932), &#171;Shuhratparastlik komediyasi&#187; (1934) pyesalari va boshqa esselarida omma ruhiyati qonunlarini rivoyat shaklidan foydalangan holda ochib bergan. &#171;Mahkum etilganlar&#187; (1955) pyesasida Kanetti ijodining asosiy mavzularidan biri \u2014 inson hayoti cheklanganligidan noroziligi bayon etilgan. Madaniy-falsafiy esselardan iborat &#171;omma va hokimiyat&#187; (1960) kitobida Yevropa fashizmi ildizlarini ko&#8217;rsatib berdi. Bundan tashqari, yozuvchining maqola va hikmatli so&#8217;zlardan iborat &#171;qaydlar&#187; (1965), &#171;inson viloyati&#187; (1972), 3 jildli memuar kitobi (&#171;qutqarilgan til&#187;,&#187;Qulokdagi mash&#8217;ala&#187;, &#171;Karovchilar&#187;) va boshqa asarlari bor.
