Ideal gaz uchun o&#8217;zgarmas hajmdagi molekulyar issiqlik sig&#8217;imi S temperatiraga bog&#8217;liq T bo&#8217;lmasa, i = hs\u0458t = CJ formula bilan ifodalanadi. Bunda U\u2014 ichki energiya, T\u2014 temperatura. Joul qonuni ideal gaz uchun to&#8217;g&#8217;ri bo&#8217;lib, real gazlarga tatbiq qilinganda bir oz xatoga yo&#8217;l qo&#8217;yiladi. Shunga qaramay, texnik hisoblashlarda keng tatbiq qilinadi.
