Logosni borliqni har tomonlama anglash, uning ritmi va uyg&#8217;unligi deb, avval-ibtido olov bilan aynan deb tushungan, dunyoning asosi deb bilgan. Logos abadiy, umumiy va zaruriy, hamma narsa Logos bo&#8217;yicha sodir bo&#8217;ladi. Platon va Aristotel Logosni ham borliqning qonuni, ham mantiqiy printsip sifatida tushungan. Aristotel fikricha, ichki Logos (hali aytilmagan fikr) va tashqi Logos (aytilgan so&#8217;z) mavjud. Stoiklar ham ichki Logosni tashqi Logosdan farq qilsalarda, lekin ular Logosga birmuncha boshqacharoq mazmun beradilar.
