To&#8217;lqin uzunliklarining bu sohasida havo kuchli yutish xususiyatiga ega bo&#8217;lganligi sababli, spektral asboblar vakuumli bo&#8217;lishi, ya&#8217;ni ularning optik qismlari, nurlanish manbalari va qabul qilgichlari 10~4-10~5 mm sim. ust. bosimli germetik kameraga joylangan bo&#8217;lishi kerak. Vakuum spektroskopiyasida nurlanish manbalari sifatida gaz razryadi, elektr yoyi, rentgen trubkalari va lazer nurlanishini vakuumda qattiq jismga fokuslash yordamida olinadigan plazmadan foydalaniladi. Spektrlarni olish usullaridan biri dasta-plyonkali usul bo&#8217;lib, unda atom yoki ionlar spektri tez ionlar dastasining yupqa folga (zarqog&#8217;oz) orqali o&#8217;tishi natijasida uyg&#8217;onadi. B.C. qattiq jismlar atomlari, ionlari, molekulalarining energetik strukturasini, o&#8217;tishlar ehtimolligini va boshqa ko&#8217;rsatkichlarni tadqiq etishda foydalaniladi.
